You can install the FaceBook BB app and link the contacts in your BB address book..

But I think the contact has to exist already, but I'm not too sure..

I actually love some features of the new Facebook App, but when I want to send one Facebook phonebook contact to link to a BlackBerry contact, it just updates the profile picture as well as the contact's name into my BB phonebook, leaving the phone number and other fields empty (on my BB phonebook). Is there a way to do it completely with phone and other fields?

I would also love an export feature for all my Facebook contacts, but with filters.

FaceBook 1.5 has the option to request a users phone number and it should add that phone number to your contact.

Exported contacts with filters seems like something a bit more advanced for the current version of facebook

You have to request the phone number from your friends after you link it to a new or existing BB contact from facebook. It does work.

In the FaceBook 1.5 app go to your Friends list and highlight the desired friend hit the menu key and you should have the option to request the friends phone number.

I'm familiar with requesting a friend's phone number, but if it's already listed in FB, why doesn't it import automatically with the name and pic? Same thing for the email addresses...

I can view the number in the FB app, so is there a way to make it update the contacts without having to copy and paste it??
