Hey people.

I would like to know how to upload a display picture without having to crop it?

I am aware that I can resize the image to a size of say 200x150, but then the quality of the image is drastically reduced.

When I try to upload a picture of size, say, 1024x768 it prompts me to crop the pic, which I do not want to do.

Is resizing my only option here? Or are there other ways to get around it?

I am using BBM 5.0.3.22 on my 9300

What is a display picture? Do you mean wallpaper? If so, for best results, you need to resize and crop the image to the dimensions of the screen. For the 9300, the screen size is 320x240.

I feel the OP is referring to the Profile picture to be put up on BBM. Using a high resolution picture and then cropping it seems to be the only way ... I could be wrong.. if anyone has a workaround solution to this, please post up.
