Default 8830 radio needing rebooting

Please Login to Remove!

i took a look through the 6 past pages to make sure this wasn't brought up already(it hasn't)

i'm not sure if anyone else on other carriers have noticed this symptom:

sms/pin/messenger work fine, but when trying to make an outgoing call, there is no connection with the network and never goes to "connected" with arrows going back and forth when a call is being made. sms/data related stuff still works fine, and incoming calls come in fine as well, BUT, can't make outgoing calls. just says "calling" and just sits there.

i'm forced to turn the radio off(shows antenna with an x), then turn it back on(gets lower case 1xev), then for some odd reason, after making a call, the radio turns off(no antennae, says off), forcing me to turn back radio on, once again.

i just ran into this issue the past week. heard a few co-workers with the same issue.

anyone else had this happen?

i'm with Bell, with 4.2.2.123(240)

it's driving me nuts, as it happens intermittendly!

try going to:

options > advanced > Host Routing Table
and pick a new one from the list.

if that dosnt work, see if resending your service books does anything.

how do you select a diff one off the list? it seems like you can only view those modules.

re-registered. let's see what happens..

You can also try doing a *228 to have the CDMA part reprovisioned.
