AddOnIs for OS 5.0 & New Autolock feature: what is this all about?!

Wirelessly posted (8100 Pearl) I have noticed that the Autolock feature in AddOnIs v1.4.9 for OS 5.0 has a new checkbox: "Enable New Lock/Standby Mode in newest OS5.0" What is that all about?!?
