Default Question regarding restoring backup, and email setup

Please Login to Remove!

Former Bold user, just bought the Torch. Looks pretty good so far. Great, in fact.

First question is that when I try to restore my info from the Bold using the Blackberry Messenger software, it says my Torch doesn't have enough memory to accept the restore.

Any tips on how to do the restore?

Second question is that when I try to link my email accounts, it says "to activate your enterprise account, enter details provided by your system administrator...

When I look in help it says the enterprise account option applies to corporate users, which I am not. How do I get past this to set up my email accounts?

Thanks.

[Blackberry manager software]

Have you gone to the BIS site and used the Change Device option to enter the new device's PIN and IMEI so that it knows that the new device is the one you want to use with your Blackberry data plan.

No, that sounds like a good idea. Forgive me for asking, but what is BIS and IMEI, and how do I find them?

BIS is the blackberry service. Your carrier will have a web portal to BIS where you will be able to associate the new blackberry with your BIS account (assuming you have a BIS account). See http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.p...BIS_account%3F.
The IMEI is an identification number for the device. See KB04665-ESN, MEID, ICCID, IMEI, IMSI, PIN and SIM.
