All, a very peculiar problem I found. When connecting my BB STORM (9500) to WIN XP SP3 for the 1st time, the Desktop Manager 4.7 kept on crashing everytime I tried to synchronize. Result, a beautiful errormessage that no one understands... This forum did not really reveal a solution (believe me I tried them all). After digging into the XP system I noticed that the DESKTOPMANAGER.EXE was running in Windows2000 compatibility mode (automatically switched on). After switching this off (no compatibility mode) the system runs like a charm, no crashes, etc.

Do a search for desktopmanager.exe, when you find that file right click the file and on the properties box that appears you will see a tab called "compatibility" you will then see a check box to run the program in compatibility mode, uncheck it .

Yes it makes my computer freeze at start up. Then if I get my computer to work it freezes when I close programs. Sometimes my internet will not connect and I have FIOS verizon.
Has soon has I remove Roxio and then clean the registry my computer is fine. If I use the DM without Roxio it works fine.
