Default Help with redirector...

Please Login to Remove!

I am having trouble configuring Redirector. I originally had problems loading on my w/ my outlook 2003 but I have fixed that. The new problem/issue that I am having is there is a Yellow Exlamation mark near the tower in the system tray (icons). When I open Redirector the Program title reads

"Disabled - Blackberry Desktop Redirector"

My PinMy: (my pin is listed) Status: Verifiying forwarding Address
Forwarded: 0
Sent from handheld: 0
Pending for handheld: 7
Expired: 0
Filtered: 0

The three rows on the right display "Not Available"
and the last row Result of handheld... is BLANK.

What is wrong why is it not working ? I have tried searching for some documentation but can NOT find anything... *sigh* my first experience with a RIM product and seems like you have to be a Rocket Scientist to own/use one of these things...

FYI: I am on a Blackberry 7100t
Running Blackberry Desktop 3.6.3

There is your problem right there, the desktop redirector needs an exchange mailbox.

This is not technically true. Redirector DOES work for POP3.... Though I'm having somewhat of the same issue myself at the moment.

It MAY work, and if it does not, or it breaks, and you end up calling your carrier, you WILL NOT get any support, especially if they end up transferring you to RIM, who, the second they find out it is using POP instead of Exchange, will tell you that it will not work, and WILL NOT help you set it up/fix it, but instead will direct you into setting up a BIS account.

Desktop Redirector is designed to work with a Exchange server and NOT A POP ACCOUNT.
