MAY work, and if it does not, or it breaks, and you end up calling your carrier, you
WILL NOT get any support, especially if they end up transferring you to RIM, who, the second they find out it is using POP instead of Exchange, will tell you that it will not work, and
WILL NOT help you set it up/fix it, but instead will direct you into setting up a BIS account.
Desktop Redirector is designed to work with a
Exchange server and
NOT A POP ACCOUNT.
