Default blackberry 9900 problems

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Can someone please help as I have a couple of issues:

1. Emails - there is an error javascript/http div etc error when I send emails from phone? Not sure how to get this fixed? Will I need to delete the email accounts from the phone and re-add?

2. Password Keeper/emails - if I change handsets how do I go about transferring the details in password keeper and emails across. Having problems with this.

I wait to hear from you

Thanks

What is the exact error message and when does it occur?

Have you logged into your BIS account and entered the IMEI and PIN of the new device? This will direct email to the new device.

Have you tried the "Switch Device" wizard in Desktop Manager to transfer from the old device to the new?

Lets work one phone and one problem at a time. Please fully explain the first problem and tell us the device and the OS.

Have you dropped either of these devices or have they been exposed to water or high humidity? Were they bought new or used?

What did you do to the device just before this happened?

The only one problem which i need resolved now is the first problem.

Phone Blackberry 9900, it was brought brand new. I am not sure what 'OS" stands for sorry??

I was charging my phone via the computer and it advised device software update was required so i allowed that to happen and since then i have had this following problem:

The problem is each time i send an email from hotmail via my blackberry device the message of </div> is part of the message.

I have tested by sending an email from my work email address via my blackberry device and it appears to be fine so its just messages sent via blackberry through hotmail which I am having a problem with.

I have deleted the emails and re set them again but the problem remains
I have sent service books - the problem remains

I just dont know why this has happen and I am looking to see how this can be resolved with someones help?

Thanks

OS = Operating System - what verion are you running?

Where is this </div> message appearing?

Have you deleted the hotmail account from BIS and added it back?

Please update your profile to show the 9900 as your BB. It currently says you have a 9700.

Might be a hotmail problem and not a BB problem, since it is on showing up in this one account on the BB. Microsoft and BB do not always get along and hotmail has had off and on issues over the last few years. There was one time when it would not work at all on a BB.

Does it happen in every email via hotmail? Might also be an HTML problem.

Ah I see I have never had this problem until now which is why it has been annoying me!

Yes all emails sent via blackberry phone through hotmail... I thought it might be a HTML problem but wasnt sure how to even start to rectify it!

I dont really know what can be done :(
