I am sure alot of you out there have been getting spammed alot in the past month

How do you delete multiple emails on 8100

on my 7100 I used to :

hold the Shift key down and roll the track wheel to select multiple emails, then push track wheel in again and select delete.

somehow this does not seem to work with 8100 and trackball

any success ??

I do it all the time, press and hold the shift and trackball the messages you want to delete.

was confusing the shift key with the left most key on the bottom

with the arrow pointing downward

what is that key called

Cool, thanks, I didn't know you could do that with the shift key! Although I do find it hard using the Pearl right handed. Still cool.

Or, you can use my favorite to wipe out all messages. Scroll to a particular date heading, click the BlackBerry button to the left of the pearl, then choose Delete Prior.

great for mass deletion....not so great if you want to pick and choose bunches....so its great to have both methods.

Something that might be easier, just highlight the date, click menu and delete prior.

Does anyone find that deleting more than one email at a time takes an insane amount of time? Even 2 emails takes at least 25 seconds for me... Something must be off... Any suggestions?
