I am pretty illiterate when is comes to the BB, but I think I may have a solution for some of us. When I went to m.youtube.com and tried to watch the videos by clicking watch video; I came up with an error message stated unsupported format or something like that. When I just clicked on the picture of the video that I wanted to watch; it worked perfectly. Hope this helps someone else. Thanks to all that have helped me along this journey of owning a BB.

I calld tmobil and they said that I dont have a service plan, I think I have a 3rd party service plan becuz I can go on line from my bb and do a search ebay, autotrader, even view this forum from my bb. when I go to youtube and vtap. my media player pops up and it says loading (a video i have seleted) about 20-40 second passes by and I get a message saying "error playing" "content not available. server is blocked or unresponsive".

I have turned off my audio boost.
I have clear my browser cache
I have delete my cookies.

is there anything else I should turn off or on?

please help and thank you for your response
I have t-mobile also with the same problem. I called tech support and they had me upgrade from the t-zones browser to the bb internet service. Youtube works fine now.

I'd have to Say its just youtube they have issues. I HAve the 8100 4.5.0.69 and I could get vids no prob for as long as I can remember and bout a month ago one vid worked for me then nuthin I get stick at that stupid (you are 3 in line your vid will be ready shortly)then I get to 0 and it goes back to 3 or 2. And never loads it just keeps repeating over and over no matter how many times I try it.
. Youtube keeps trying different things and RIM does the same I think it may be that once RIM gets it going youtube does something different and it screws it all up again. Might just be a matter of time till they get all there bugs worked out. Well see.

Hi

I understand that youtube is not on certain platforms. But I have Bold using with TMobile and software 4.6. But then also I have the same problem. I can not view youtube. Someone said in this post to try vuclip.com and I tried it too to view the streaming but same problem. It gave error "Content not available. Server is blocked or unresponsive"
I read in some post somewhere that close the media player then remove the cache and then open the youtube again and it should work but it still doesnt work.
Any ideas why even though I have 4.6. How can we know what OSs are supported with youtube. Is there any list somewhere or place where we can research.

Thanks

I tried using the Google App for Youtube, however it wouldn't work. However just going right to m.youtube.com works just fine.

On day google will fix it, they fix everything!
