When I login to a WIFI hotspot, I use the T-mobile browser and make sure it is set to the "hotspot browser" option. Then I will enter my username and password on the login screen, and it will say I am logged in. But I've come to realize that if I don't stay on that screen and leave my phone alone for, say, 10 minutes... then I won't really be connected. Meaning that the "wifi" icon is not lit up and if I try to do something on the internet, it uses Edge network.

Is there a way to be instantly online once you've logged in the hotspot?

Set your browser to internet rather than hotspot. Doing this will use wifi if it is there, and the network if it is not

It worked! Now the only thing is, my Tmobile browser keeps defaulting back to Hotspot Browser mode. Even after I save the options change. Any way to keep it on Internet Browser?
