Default Question Regarding 8700c Browser

Please Login to Remove!

For those that have got one, has the browser been improved? By that I mean do webpages display better than on say the 7290 and 7100g more like the other PDA devices do? I know with edge and the faster chip and memory will make it faster. I am curious if the web browser itself look and feel wise has been improved dramatically.

Not only faster and more reliable, the pages display vertically. In other words, you scroll down and get the full site without having to click vertically to get a whole sentence.

Ah...I have a 7100G. Can you compare the two for us in the same situation?

I played with the 8700c in my store today (we finally got them in) Here is my impression.

THe BROWSER is at least 200% better (look and feel) than the predecessor. The speed is STUPID FAST. It displays websites well, and graphics load relatively quickly. The only downside so far is that some websites cause errors but that could be prevented by turning scripts off.... OVerall this is the treo killer I was hoping for, and finally a blackberry that will appeal to more of a consumer end user
