I am having the exact same problem. Just started happening a few days ago. I've tried the battery pull. I even deleted a couple apps to free up some memory. Still nothing. What version OS are you using? I am using .148

Oh btw this is my first post. Hello ya'll I have been reading this forum for a while. Very informative! I've had my Storm since last November and this is the first issue I've had with it. I may try re-installing the OS if I can't figure it out. Thanks!

Now when you guys say battery pull are you using Quickpull or taking the battery out of your phone? I find with camera trouble to remove the battery for about 30sec. fixes camera trouble.

I'd re-install the os or if nothing else install .151 - it improved my camera performance greatly so worth the effort.

Welcome to BBF Jason (Stormtrooper TK9530),

Another question would be what 3rd party apps do you have installed? I would agree with upgrading to .151, just be sure to back up your data first.

Is there anything you have not solved on the storm by pulling the battery? How many times did you try quick pull before pulling the battery?

When I pull the battery I always leave it out for at least 2-3 minutes just to be sure. My apps are weatherbug, youtube, aol and yahoo IM . I'll upgrade to .151 when I get home from work and see what happens. Thanks guys

Yes lots. I don't have that many problems. I do a QuickPull once a week if that. The only reason I do QuickPull is to give me more memory. The thing that is weird about the storm is each phone acts different. Like for example my wife’s camera after a few days won’t zoom. The only way to get it to work again is to pull the battery out.

Well I just upgraded to .151 and still no camera. I still get the same message as before. The update did improve the performance of the phone, but no luck with the camera fix.

If I return the phone for repair, will the .151 release void my warranty or my ability to use my phone insurance?

Thanks again

Wirelessly posted

To be safe I would go back to your old os and take the phone back.
