Default Getting Ready w/ Storm Accessories

Please Login to Remove!

I'm really excited for the release...7 days and counting. This thread is just for fun -- Anyone already buy some goodies for their phone? I have my microSD ready to go from my old phone and just bought a purple silicon case.

The Storm with Verizon is coming with an 8GB microSD memory card, so you can just copy your data from current microSD card.

Personally, I just bought a 16gb microSD (bye bye iPod) and invisibleSHIELD for the Storm. Never used IS, but I have heard great things. If you are interested in one, I'd order one asap otherwise you could be waiting a while. Right now that have 1700+ (just talked to CSR) to complete in the first batch.

Also considering getting the dock simply for the alarm clock feature, looks pretty sick.

I have to believe 1700+ units is a bit on the low side for telesales.

Nice, I never knew about invisibleSHIELD - just googled it and about to buy one right now. Thanks.

I'm not too sure about the 8gb microSD, I haven't read about that anywhere. This is all I found on the BlackBerry site:

Memory

* Expandable memory xxx8211; support for microSDxxx8482; card
* 1GB onboard memory
* 128 MB Flash (flash memory)

It's actually coming with 4 2GB Cards. Not one 8GB.

I previously ordered an invisibleSHIELD for my iPod Touch directly from the ZAGG site which offers free shipping. The front screen protector worked great and I plan to order one from them when I get the Storm.

The 4 2gb cards was cleared up, that is what is coming with the demo units to display certain features of the Storm.

Just checked the VZW storm page and the Accessories link now has the docking station, silicone skins, a pink hard shell and cases.

You should check out www.verizonwireless.com/storm. Click on specifications, and scroll down to "Accessories In Box". It does come with an 8 gb micro SD card.

The demo units are shipping with 4 2GB cards that are each loaded with different content, highlighting different features on the device.

The reason I ask is my vendor is showing chargers that are only compatible with select models which are newer like the storm.
