Hello all.

Again issues with 7230. It is TMO device. I downloaded and installed Vodafone software and it still says TMO on the screen. What did I do wrong??? I used javaloader -u wipe to delete the device.

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong.

Changing the theme or" wiping" the device will not remove the splash startup screen of the original branded retailer. You can't remove the splash startup, it is in the firmware for the device.

Oh I see. Nothing changed. That is the funny thing. Even when I loaded CINGULAR OS still had TMO. So there is no way to get rid of it? What is then Core Applications and what is System Software? System software is always greyed out.
