I have owned a HTC Snap through Sprint since March and haven't been really happy with it. After searching the internet I found Blackberry has literally 1000 more apps for their phones than the HTC Snap. I was able to get a new 8330 and hope I wont be disappointed in the speed of the phone. I didnt realize that model is not a 3G phone until after I bought it.Will I notice a big diffrence in speed on the internet?I am looking forward to using the phone when it arrives.Thanks.

Any 3g or LTE ( 4g) will be better on the internet but location and carrier overload all factor in any level of quality. Keep in mind it's not a PC so it may be slower than you want but check out some of the newer BB's after you get used to it's offering. Also as with any device , new apps are generally only available for specific models and those are the newer ones.

It is EV-DO rev 0 compatible which may be considered the CDMA version of 3G. Rev A is faster, but it is what it is.

Internet speed is a function of many factors, most of which are out of your control, such as the device processor and memory, the connection itself, your distance to the tower, tower congestion.

As for a difference, it depends upon what you compare it with. No handheld is fast, IMHO. If you load it up with apps, that reduces the memory and it will therefore slow down.
