Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Look at the keyboards. Quite different. Pearl is a smart keyboard that shares keys. Curve is a QWERTY keyboard which resembles more of a full keyboard.

I have the Pearl 8100 and LOVE IT! It was my first BB and it's taken me a year and a half to figure somethings out. I am happy with it. That being said I am ready for an upgrade and love the look of the curve. I convinced my buddy to get the curve and it has more features I may not use but the full keypad is nice and it's slim!
Forget the features it looks nice!

It's all about the accessories!

Seriously, you'll find alot on this forum with comparisons since most models have been discussed as to which is better.
Good luck and may the force be with you,

Rolo

its just the keyboard seriously i would not upgrade I have the 8130 and if you love it , why waste the money and give up the slim form factor for that bulky curve.

This is an issue I'm struggling with, too. I love my Pearl and have no problem with SureType. I'm just wondering if the bigger screen on the Curve will be worth the added bulkiness. Sometimes I just feel like the screen on the Pearl is just a tad too small....

i have had both and the bulkiness of the curve is not worth it if your adept at suretype and love your pearl i went back to 8130
