Default Super Tough Question About Receiving Faxes

Please Login to Remove!

Hello Everyone,

I know that Mark has touched on this subject but it is still a huge mystery to me. I have a T-Mobile 8700g, pretty sweet huh? I also have an EFAX PLUS account that i have plastered all over my advertising and cards.

Here's my question; Can i receive readable faxes on my 8700 from EFAX. I don't really want to buy Doc Hawk or anything else if I don't have to.

On my EFAX account backend I can send it to 2 different e-mail accounts if this helps.

I'm counting on the BIG DOG'S for this one.

I'm not sure about your eFax service, but I have a fax-fowarding service like that that converts my documents to PDF. And with the standard BB abilities, I can view PDF files on my BB...

Just spoke to an Efax CSR and he changed the format to .pdf. I have read that we cannot open pdf's without DocHawk or some other 3rd party app. Is this info correct?

No, the 8700 will open pdf's fine without add-on software, at least mine does.
