Hi, I am Kenny G and a new poster. I need help. Suddenly my Applications list on my 8310 ([options>advanced options>Applications) is EMPTY and my application loader has everything unchecked. The 8310 does indeed have all the apps and they all work. The app list in Advanced Options and the app loader are not seeing them. I have the latest DM (4.3) and the latest device software (4.2.2.194(351) and 2.5.0.4.4) installed on the device and on the pc. I have tried Hard Resets, reinstalling the device software, reinstalling DM....all to no avail. Please someone tell me what to do. Thanks

Looks like its been a day since your post, Kenny G. Doesn't make sense to me. I'd try a hard reset and look again.

Well the problem is solved, though in a convoluted way. I upgraded to the new 4.5 and did not like a few things so I went back and deleted the new version and Desktop Manager, then redownlaoded an earlier version of the device software than I had and all is fine. Thanks

PS If you are interested there were 2 big problems with 4.5 on my 8310: First, my Empower Pro would only show the body of the emails in Text, and not in HTML. Secondly, whenever I did a battery pull or even a soft reset all of the icons I had hidden were back and needed to be rehidden and rearranged. The first time I tolerated it but after the second and third I developed a similar feeling to road rage!!
