Ok so basically I wanted to pay off my T-Mobile contract today and buy an iPhone, I got to the store and turns out my credit rating was poor so all networks rejected me for the iPhone, leaving me sad and having to put up with my dreadful blackberry curve 8520 for a few months..

I signed up to a SIM ONLY contract with orange instead of t-mobile for 3 months to boost my credit rating, it comes with 500mb of internet, trouble is I have NO IDEA how to use this internet on my blackberry. The browser option tells me I need Wi-Fi to connect to this service and on the bb app world it says 'Tunnel Failed' every time I click it.

Can someone PLEASE PLEASE help me as I am tearing my hair out!!

You need to call your provider and ask them to make sure that you have all the "service books" pushed so that you can use the wifi and other browser.
Current issue is either you dont have data plan enabled or service books are not on the BB.

I am not sure how the credit rating will improve but good luck on that!!

You need a blackberry data plan, not unlimited internet for internet to work on a blackberry.
Talk to Orange.
