Default broken pin connector

Please Login to Remove!

so here is my dilema, i had the iphone and went back to bb with the torch. i went to a rogers store last week to get a new sim card for the torch, and the guy suggested that i get this plastic sim converter in case i wanted to swtich between the iphone and bb. so today, i put the sim in the iphone to do something, and when i went to put the sim card in the plastic to put it back in the bb, the sim fell out and the plastic got stuck on the connectors. i tried to open it, didn't know that if i took off that blue dot (which i know now) that it would void the warranty. so eventually the plastic came out, but while doing so, broke a pin connector. Just wondering what, if there is any, options i may have. Am i basically s.ol.?

Thanks

Same thing happened to me. The only way I could get the sim out of the torch was to loosen the screws including the one with the blue dot. I'm going to bring my torch back to at&t tomorrow. Hopefully, they will take it back (I'm still within my first 30 days).

Well took the Torch back to my local AT&T store and they exchanged it for a new one. They didn't ask too many questions. They asked what was wrong with it and I told them that the phone did not recognize my SIM anymore. He tested it with his own SIM, saw that it didn't work, and give me a new Torch and a new SIM card. The blue sticker on the screw did not come up. Good luck to you!
