I just updated to 4.0.0.249

the browser still is there, but it's not that new one that's been talked about here (I don't think, at least)

ok, so after reading some more its safe to say nextel is rolling out the browser to certain users .. i only say that as some people are saying "it magically appeared" ..

any NY BB users get the browser? if so what OS are you on and did it appear or did you do some work to get it to appear?

thanks in advance..

From everything I have read it appears to be given out to the new OS only my two team mates here at my company both never updated software and neither of them have it yet..

On a second note I think all three of these threads need to be combined. maybe Mark can help us out on that.

I got mine HMTL yesterday 1000 CST and never had any problems with it! I got it and thought something was wrong! LOL! I couldn't believe! FINALLY! We might be behind in some areas, but Nextel STILL rocks in my book!!

I agree JD I am a huge fan of Nextel especially when I look at my DC minutes every month compared to my phone minutes I cant imagine paying for 1400 minutes of cell service. My phone service last month was maybe 200 minutes and they were free too because they were incoming calls. GO NEXTEL!!!!

Awesome I just noticed it this morning. It's so retro using a slow internet connection to view the internet. I can veiw secure sites and I can even play utopia. It also seems slow at processing certain scripts, making the unit somewhat unresponsive

Cool Holy crap, I was right!

I got mine yesterday....

That picture up there is the right icon for the browser - it has people. It seems kind of gay, but it works real good!
