I just got an 9800 (I am a long BB user since 2004). The phone as some strange behaviour. Sometimes it starts scrolling by itself (I am not using trackpad or the touch screen but suddenly I start getting an scroll either from the menu itens or through all my messages).

Did anyone had this problem so far ?

the things are spastic at times. mine will start flying through an sms thread every so often. still not certain what triggers that.

Yes,the home screen would scroll slowly...but that has not happened since I have upgraded my OS .448 and beyond...now I am running OS 6.0.0.546

I did face a similar problem with my Torch. Reinstalling the device OS wasn't helpful either. I removed the screen protection film on the device and the scrolling appears to have stopped. Do you a film or privacy screen on yours ?
