Alot of users tell me that when they try to delete emails from the device it just will not dissapear. The Pearl seems to be the only device they ever complain about it on. Battery reset doesn't fix anything. Filing the email and hiding filed emails doesn't work either.

Wow, I've never heard of this. I bet it's annoying, to you as well as them.

The O2 .64 software fixes this problem or as you say feature.

Not for me. I have the O2 ugrade. When I receive a call, and move the trackball, the ringer stops until the next ringer cycle, then it starts ringing again.

I installed it the day it was released and haven't had that issue since.

Well, I'll treat the update like Windows XP and the upcoming VISTA.

I never install operating systems and patches until they have been out for a few months. I like to sit on the fence and see what's going on with other users.

I waited about a year before installing XP and will wait about that before installing VISTA.

So, I'll monitor BBForums and elsewhere to see how the T-Mo update goes. There is nothing too pressing for me at this time, but I duly note others have a real problem with this or that [e.g., trackball/ringer issue; 2GB support].

The T-Mo is not a new update! It's the same as O2, with T-Mo's name on it.

The T-Mobile release will actually have a different platform code file, tailored for their network. However, the OS itself was signed off a couple of weeks ago and is now being released. The OS itself, as mentioned, is no different than the other 4.2.0.64/4.2.0.75 releases we have available from O2, etc.

We should have 4.2.0.79 (Package/Release) within a month, possibly 2-3 weeks (not from T-Mobile).

Does your crystal ball (or inside scoop) have an inkling of any new features, fixes or backward steps that may be lurking in .75??

Christ, we get the point already. However, does O2's version fix the problem with Tmobile's myFaves?

Noted, but I have the same policy on anything someone puts out, regardless of labels.

All I know is that T-mo said the next update will fix the issue. If they mean this one, or the next, I don't know.

If its just 0.64 (with the home screen bug) then who cares. :( Its the same as all the other 0.64's out there..

On my .64 machine, I constantly get a java exception when a type a name form the home screen to dial them.. Really annoying.

Wow. Your post wasted a whole screen on my pearl. Not really sure why your feelings on windows has to do with a tmobile upgrade.

I haven't seen anyone say this yet. I bet this upgrade will also fix the 1 GB limit.

Now I can toss my 1 GB micro SD card in the trash can and buy myself a 2 GB micro SD card now!

Just joking!

I will end up selling the 1 GB on Ebay.
