I love the shortcuts, some people love them even more. However, with the new 4.5 OS, I set them to bookmark, and when I visit them often, they are usually at the top of the list and easy to get to. If I don't use it very often, it's usually on my bookmarks list.

So I really do appreciate the icon/link (it looks great!) but I also can't really justify buying something that I can easily do through the bookmarks of the browser...
