Default Not being prompted to upgrade.. (4.5 OS Upgrade)

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all,

Been awhile since I have been on the boards and I've seen the new 4.5 OS is out and about. I've since downloaded all the needed applications, both the Desktop Manager plus the actual 4.5 OS Upgrade.

I installed the upgrade, deleted the vendor.xml and loaded up DM. Yet I don't get anything prompting me to upgrade.. I even hit check for updates and nothing. I tried a battery pull and nothing.

Is there something I am missing?

Followed those instructions to the T and still no luck. I am using DM 4.7 and even when I go to application loader it'll still say no updates are available. Whats going on? It was never this difficult or frustrating updating my OS a year ago.

You must delete vendor.xml before the install. When you run App Loader does it then say there are upgrades?

I am running Windows XP Home, and yes I am deleting the vendor.xml before the install.

I just ran the loader.exe from the same folder where I delete the vendor.xml as the instructions mentioned; and it looks like it found the update. Will have to see how it goes.

I apologize, apparently I didn't see that part in the instructions until I went back through. I didn't know the new DM4.7 was going to be this frustrating!
