Default BOLD Was Never Delayed! Boy Genius Wrong!

Please Login to Remove!

Cellphones: RIM Denies Blackberry Bold Delays, But It's Still Hitting in August

That is from RIM's mouth. Looks like this site and others need to quit relying on Boy Genius for "reliable" news. No delays, never were any delays and August is the planned release date.

EDIT: Go to Betanews in that link and you get this quote:

"But in speaking with BetaNews last night, Van Drunen denied any knowledge of overheating problems. "I don't know where that's coming from at all, but it's probably from somewhere in the blogosphere," according to Van Drunen."

Again, just because a blogger reports it, it is not news.

Thank you, Captain Obvious.

I gotta love how you bash BGR, and then go ahead and mention two other Blogs in your post.

You have a real attitude on this forum, if you have issues take them somewhere else. I merely stated facts, which news sites jump on any scrap of info and report it as news, which is wrong. No need to be a smart aleck.

Awww, did I hurt your feelings? I'm sorry about that.

No, just people like you think a south park avatar and high post count mean something. They don't. Take your attitude somewhere else.

sandmanfvr, clean up the language, and no name calling.

It was a little odd, IMO, what is believed on one blog is not believed on another.

Not to add fuel just a clarification.

RIM had slated, internally, a launch of June 25. Obviously they didn't make it. On the other hand, with a release date of "Summer" they can release it up until mid to late September and not have it delayed. They never went public with June 25th, or any other specific date.
