Default Problems with PDFs on BB.

Please Login to Remove!

Hello BB Forum,

My firm has 20 Blackberrys (split evenly along the 8100's and the 8700's).
We have a BES-Groupwise server in house.

However some of my employees are experiencing difficulty viewing PDFs on their handheld. I have looked up a few articles on the Blackberry site, but am still unclear.

What are the limitations? (we use Adobe Acrobat 6 Pro in the office)
What is the size limit? And would that change based on having the media card in or not?

Is there any RIM/BB or third party PDF readers that people have had good experiences with?

Thank you for your help!

There are better third-party PDF viewers out there. Try BeamBerry or Repligo for a couple. There are others as well.

Cerience Corporation - RepliGo Mobile Document Solutions

Repligo, you won't regret it. About $10/month/user, probably get a bulk rate for 20

You may also have a look at MasterDoc. MasterDoc software application is a unified communication solution for RIM BlackBerry, DynoPlex Inc.

Repligo is the only way to "go". If your "firm" is a law firm and you do ANY transactional work, it's important to note that Repligo will display the proper formatting and coloring of redlined docs generated by Workshare DeltaView (whether in doc, rtf, or pdf) -- a feature which is not really advertised but which distinguishes Repligo from many of its competitors. Also, the IT Policy at my firm is relatively restrictive and Repligo still works with it.

We have our choice of 3rd party apps at my firm and, after trying them all (or most of them anyway), Repligo was the answer for me.
