Default Outlook 2007 Synchronization

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying to synch my MS Outlook 2007 contacts/calendar to my new 9550 Storm 2.

I have gone all the way through the synch set up but when I click on "OK" to execute the synch, the Desktop Manager tells me the process is unavailable to me because I need to disable wireless synchronization.

I have the device connected to my lap top via USB and the set up seems fairly straight forward but I cannot figure out how to execute the synch.

I am running XP SP3 and have checked for updates to the software I received. Other online help and device help has not proven useful.

Has anyone been through this and discovered a solution? Thank you.

Are you using a device connected to your company's BES? If so it might be blocking the sync to your home PC.

If this is the case, you probably should check with the IT Staff or BES Admin to see if it is allowed.

Can you tell me how my scheduled events placed on my BB Storm 2 are not syncing with my outlook? The ones not going into outlook say "Send Using" my blackberry email address. The ones syncing are using my desktop. How do I make them all "send Using Desktop?"

Thanks

I currently have a 8930 but will be switching to a 9550 shortly and do not have an exchange server so I sync with Outlook using Desktop Manager (both USB & Bluetooth). Am I understanding from MidnightDraven's comment that you can sync wirelessly without the desktop manager on the 9550? If so is it automatic or do you initiate it from the 9550 and do calendar, contacts, tasks & memos all sync.

Wirelessly posted

You can sync wirelessly if you have a BES. Not on BIS
