There are fanboys in every camp. It's a bit more rampant in the Android forums but I think there are a lot of kids flocking to these newer Android devices.

Keep in mind that preferring the iPhone because it has relevant apps != relying. If your doctor is relying on an iPhone then you definitely need a new doctor.

Stangely, the first thing that came to my mind about the doc was a drug interaction app. I can see a doc going from exam room to exam room carrying his phone. He needs to prescribe C, sees that you're already taking A and B, pulls up the app and looks to see if there is an issue. Beats either going back to his office or carrying the book everywhere.
