I doubt that very much. If they are gonna be for sale on Thursday stores would definitely have them in the back by now.

With an "official" release party for the Curve on June 7th, I am highly doubtful on this information.

I just called my guy at AT&T, and he said he has not heard anything about a Curve release for this Thursday the 31st. However, he did say that it's not impossible since most corporate stores get deliveries just about everyday except over the weekend. He also said that they probably wouldn't be in the back because of big mouths like him tellin people like me that the eagle has landed, he said there being pretty hush hush. Anyway, Greg said it right! We'll know if this is it if the reps get there 15 min schooling tomorrow on the device! Otherwise more false hopes, which i'm sure we're all used to by now.

It's also possible that this would soft launch on the 31st on Premier for business customers, so stores may not have them but it would be available for phone and online ordering for Premier customers. We'll see soon enough.

My source also let it be known that AT&T has a 90 day US exclusive on this device, and it will be for all distribution channels. This will also be linked to the John Mayer tour, which this device and AT&T will be tied too.

Was in a corporate retail store in Atlanta today.
The assistant manager whom I have dealt with before, and I have alerted him to call me when they arrive, told me that he has received info on the 8300, and they will be availabel on June 14, 2 weeks for sure.

damn that is bad ass i cant wait! none of the stores have them that i called in dallas...... im guessing by next monday they should all get them unless they have great shipping and they will all get them the day they are released

Stores get shipments in every day. From what I am hearing, RIM and ATT are making sure that they are ready to meet the strong demand. They have learned from the 8700 launch. Sometimes it is better to not commit to anything until all the channels are stocked.

Also, it is not uncommon that stores will NOT have pricing and availability until they actually receive the devices. This was true for the 8800.

The press release will be unveiled soon. Wouldn't be surprised if we see it this week .

i cant wait for another 90 exclusive! im gunna have to jump ship and get a att curve. i guess we can assume tmo usa wont have a different version since they released the 8300 in austria and germany. sorry but i hope the exclusive thing is not true for us tmo users sake
