Default Memory cards and apps

If I have a 4gb memory card, does it only store pictures, music, etc? What if I start to run out of memory for apps? I am new to BlackBerry and just bought 4 for myself and family. We are hooked and want to get the most out of them.

Memory card is mainly for multimedia like you mentioned (pictures, music, videos). You cannot store applications on the memory card. It's a limitation of the device.
