after i have activated a user i am unable to monitor the user. it finds the list of users on the server but they are grayed out and i cannot select them. i am using the trial version. i didnt read there being any limitations on what i can do.
any ideas?

that is incorrect.

The trial version doesn't have user limitations. Limitations are imposed by the licenses used. Enter additional licenses you get additional users.

I am having the same issue, RIM support just keeps talking in circles, pointing to this doc:

What is needed to enable monitoring on users? BES components are being monitored just fine. Please help!
