Default Docs To GO

Please Login to Remove!

I have the latest version of Docs to go 1.002.016 "Trial Version". I cannot open an attachment sent with Office 2007. The help center on dataviz says this version of software supports Office 2007 but I must have the upgraded BIS. How do I find out the BIS I'm running?

Sprint has the BIS 2.5.

Go here to read to how... http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...lackberry.html

or just:
Quote:
B) Enable BIS 2.5 - From your BlackBerry, or PC, go to your carrier BIS site and resend your Service Books.

1. Log into your providers BIS site from your handheld (see your personal email setup icon) or from your PC.
2. Click the link to resend the service books.

You should receive a new Registration message to your device if the Service Books were sent successfully.

I resent the service books. Got HTML email. Just can't view a 2007 office word dcument in Docs to go. The help center at docs to go says my version is the latest and should support Office 2007. Just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue.

I am having the same or a similar problem. I resent service books from tmo, and have html email. It's awesome, by the way. I also have BES SP6, and followed the instructions on another post here that described how to open docs to go, register, and then go back to the program and 'update.' That gave me the standard full version including Excel. After all of that, I could 'download attachment' in addition to 'open attachment,' but when I download and open an Excel attachment, docs to go starts and then throws a 'this is not a valid MS Excel 97-2008 file" error. When I look at the document's properties on the Blackberry, it says the file is a MS Excel 97-2004 file. And I know it is. It was created and saved in Office 2003. Can't find help anywhere.

I just did a test. I created a short docx file in Word 2007 and sent it to myself. I have a Sprint 8830 with OS 4.5 and the free (but upgraded) version of Doc2Go.

When I get the e-mail, I open the attached for edit in Doc2Go. Works just fine.

I realize this doesn't help you, except that it shows that Sprint is capable of sending Word 2007 files.

Maybe reinstall Doc2Go?

Phone: You can call our Support Team at 203-874-0085. Calls will be charged $19.99 per incident. There is no charge for installation related calls.

Just saw this on dataviz website, $20 seems a little steep for information for a product that I havent even bought yet!

The current version works with .docx files but not .xlsx files.
