I just wanted to see if this has happend to anybody else and what came of it. I have a BB7520 and i was lying in bed last night (mental picture) playing brickbreaker while watching some tv. I paused the game sat the BB down on my nightstand to watch the show. As soon as a commercial came back on i picked my BB up to continue the game. The screen was blank, the only thing it was doing was the LED was flashing red every once in awhile. It was almost like it had auto shut-off but i know that i had set that for later in the night but either which way i held down the power button and nothing happend so i took out the battery and held down the power button and put the battery back in and still nothing. I then plugged it in to the charger but still nothing. I then called Nextel BB support where the very nice lady told me to go to the options menu???? As i reiterated that the BB would not power up she didnt say anything for a second and said that all she could do is give me the number for a service store. My BB has been working perfectly for the past three months that i have had it and all the sudden last night it died. I havent dropped it (lately) and it hasnt gotten wet so now i get to redistribute my new pin and go through the hassle of getting all my programs back on the new one. Thank goodness for insurance and BES.

So i get my new phone...set it up reinstall all my programs, deal with my companies tech support getting BES hooked back up and everything. Then the new one decides that its not going to connect to a network. The first time it happend i did a soft reset and it fixed it. Well this morning its happening again so i call the wonderful Nextel BB support and short of re-installing the OS nothing worked. In the end i explained my frustration to them and how my job depends on my having my BB they are sending me a new 7100i at 75% off the going rate. Thats just because i didnt buy my original BB from them. Still my stock in RIM and especially Sprint/Nextel keeps going down.
