Default How do I fix a white screen on blackberry pearl

Please Login to Remove!

I got the new blackberry pearl last week. Today when I went to use it, there was a blank white screen.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the white screen and return to the normal home screen?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried a battery pull? Using alt+back to switch apps?

I had this for the first time recently. I thought the device was fried.
Battery pulls did not work by itself. I believe I did a battery pull, then set it aside until it reset itself and the backlight turned off. When I hit the power button the screen reappeared and has worked as normal since the event. I have no idea why this happened.

Well I ran into the same problem last night. I was out to a hottub last night with my girly, an ended up getting a little bit smashed, so I managed to drop my Pearl on a hard pool deck like ten times. Next I noticed that the screen was all white, but the phone itself still works. I can make calls, recieve calls, and even my alarm went off at the right time today, just the screen is all blank/white. I tried the battery tricks, but nothing worked. I'm a little hesitant about going to a T-Mobile location, cause I didn't buy their "insurance plan". What should I do, will they replace it for me?

I'm in thailand so it's not easy to find someone who can fix it, The screen of my blackberry pearl is all white , even if I take out the batery for a few hours its still the same. i find a chop where they open it and it start working for 5 minutes, then it went all white again. I just paid 40 dollars for the unlock codes so I need to fixe it. If Anybody know how to fixe it please let me know.

Unhappy White Screen

I have the similar white screen problem. It was working perfectly fine this morning and out of a sudden the screen fades into white. And I tried taking the battery out numerous times and every once in a while it works but fades into white again.

Now its just a blank white screen.

Its driving me crazy! I cant get to a shop now cos I am at work. I am officially uncontactable.

HELP?!
