Exclamation Help Needed! Sensitive A button ;'(

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All

I'm new to BBforums and in need of some professional BB aid

I have a 2nd Hand White 8520 brought from eBay

Its was in great working order when brought so the following fault i believe is due to me, most likely from dropping my curve

The A button above the left hand side alt is very sensitive and i don't even have to press it for it to type but when i do press it an army of Aaaaa's occur when i'm typing/texting. Also when i use neighboruing keys espically the S button the letter A also comes up making me look like a fool on BBM lol. The phone doesn't lock properly most times when i hold down A.

Please help me, im willing to open up my BB and what not but i really dont want to have to pay someone else to fix it if i can

Thanks in advance

You can order parts from Faceplate | Housing | Repair parts | Accessories | Mobile parts - Cellular Accessories | Mobile
They're out of Hong Kong, but they're reputable and have tons of O.E.M parts for good prices. Shipping usually takes a week to ten days though.

They also have videos on how to replace certain parts. And if the video is not on their web site there's always YouTube.

Without opening it up there is little chance of diagnosing the problem. Sometimes you are just better off getting a replacement device.
