The G1 will be first out of the gate. Mid-Late September pre-sale with an October release. But the X1 will have AWS bands. Hopefully T-Mo will offer it so we can get some subsidized pricing.

Most shipments take 2-3 days so we could see them available to buy in stores by 9/26-27, assuming the warehouse ships same day.

This should make some folks happy.

I am also hearing

2yr @ $299.99
Outright @ $549.99

This may be old news. Just got off a 13 hr flight so sorry if I am late to the party.
So how will this reflect online sales, specifically business online? Will we be able to order on the same day as an end user the same way the stores can?

The wife could not wait any longer, her trusty Razr was dying so we went to the AT&T store to pick up an IPhone. I, on the other hand will wait for the Bold, but have learned not to be the first out of the box to get the new toy. I let others work out the problems and then jump in. Also, I figure with the IPhone, we will have the best of both worlds when we travel, only problem will be no PIN or Blackberry Messenger, but that may be for the better as well

Hopefully, or else I'm hopping in my trusty time machine, skipping back a week, and purchasing a Bold.

And I do have a time machine. Honest.

ATT delayed the Bold because of network issue according to a Tech i spoke with who was Hired by ATT to find out what the issue was. The iphone created an interesting catch 22. Att got more new activations and upgrade but in simple terms they just have to many people on the 3G network streaming and using bandwidth. Att has purchased more space but in the short term unless they cap device's the issue will continue.

reminds me of the tickle me elmo dolls. people were buying them just because they were impossible to find. I've waited this long, another month or two won't make much of a difference. Its just a phone for christ's sake.

ouch, well that does make some sense as the iphone 2.1 update was partially to limit how much bandwidth it was tieing up (not necessarily using). Someone really screwed up then if they don't have enough bandwidth to drop the Bold, hope those people are looking for new jobs.
