Question Wireless Calendar - BES Beta Users

Please Login to Remove!

Good evening all,

I have a BES server running 4.1.4.15 with Exchange 2007. I have three users set up to test the installation. The hand helds:

8800 with AT&T provider
8800 with Cingular provider
Pearl with Cinugular provider

All of three units are using the only policy - Default Policy. The only thing that I have changed in that policy is to set 'disable wireless calendar' to false.

Here's the question. The 8800's have Wireless Calendar enabled and have had it enabled since before I even found Policies. The Pearl however has Wireless Calendar Disabled - even with the Policy applied.

I haven't supported a BES server since the 3.6 days. Thoughts? Ideas?

Thanks

the wireless calendar setting in the BES is controlled by the device, most likely the device has the option for wireless sync of the calendar to "no"

Would you know if that setting would lie in the device's Options menus or in the Desktop software?

On the blackberry handheld go to the Calender, then click the trackball and go to options. Wireless synchronization should be set to Yes.

Yup! That was it. Thanks! I was looking under the Device Options / Advanced Options area.

Thanks again!
