hey, since i backed up my pearl i havent bein able to send any text messages and can not connect to the browser. how can i fix this?

Did you try going to Options >Advanced Options >Host Routing Table >Menu key and select "Register Now?"

Do you have a data plan? If so, sounds like you have a coverage issue.

yes. the phone is unlocked and is on the rogers wireless network

Does it say edge or EDGE on the homescreen?

Does it say "off" or "X"

it only says "gsm"

That's why your browser doesn't work. It needs to say EDGE...not edge or gsm.

Try pulling your battery and sim card and then reinsert and see if you can get EDGE.

Do you have a "blackberry data plan?"

i got a blackberry $15.00 email package and also it gives me internet 1.5mb of data

If that's the case then I don't know why you don't have EDGE. I would contact your carrier as something is wrong with your account.

ok so i got my bb working again but now the only problem im getting is i cant set my email up.

you can login there and set things up. if it doesnt work, call your carrier back and ask to talk to someone in Blackberry department

the darn thing will not work. i even called rogers technical services and they couldnt get it to work on there side either so i guess im outa luck unless someone knows how to get it to work and bypass something
