I updated to OS6 last night. Very impressed so far even for an unofficial release. The new webkit totally changes internet browsing on a BB and functions so much better. Even my trackpad is working better and my device seems to be operating a little more smoothly than 5.0. I haven't had a lot of time to spend getting familiar with the new OS yet but so far I am very impressed. Well done RIM!

I put os 6.0.0.418 and I like it but I can't change the blackberry 6 theme why is this I have downloaded other themes but they don't show up it only shows the one theme and I have notice as well the memory is down as well can any one help on the theme part thanks

Yes, the someone was me. Notice the part in the instructions about it working "regardless of carrier"? That means any 9300 handset.

Yes, it does. You'll need to make sure you get an OS file that has "AMEA..." after the model number, as in "9300AMEA..."

I have issues playing youtube on the new OS6 on curve 9300. It says "error in playing media". I've tried changing browser options,browser push. Still no change, I can't do video streaming .. My friend has the same ph and same SP but she's able to do video streaming.. Any help?
