How do i get rid of this on 9900. I can't find it anywhere in the options? Latest OS downloaded on top of this page

From the Home Screen, press the Menu button. Select "Options".
Under "Launch By Typing", select "Application Shortcuts". Save.

Not sure what your second sentence has to do with your first question.

My profile is correct. I posted it in the 9900 forum so i don't see why you are confused. And i specifically stated "9900" If i was in the general forum you can use that argument but im in the correct forum and my question was BB specific. Plus I still have the phone in my profile.

Thanks for posting this (I was also going to ask), but this only partially solves the problem. Sometimes it will bring up the search screen with “dial” as the suggested action, but it always brings up a search dialog. I hate to ask if this is the only option available.
