i already have read about the spam thread, about rim got hack. but a coworker of mine recently recieve spam email to her outlook...it is not even directly to her. but i heard this problem only applies to individual that uses bis AND have yourcarrier.blackberry.net email address.

she doesn't uses any of those blackberry.net email address...all she has is our company email address(abc@company.com) on her bis.

so my question is how is the spam email not being filtered thru our spam blocker system? fyi...we uses mxlogic as the spam filters.

see below for an example that a spam email that has gone into her outlook:

Sent: Monday, December 11, 2006 10:45 PM
To:
Subject: of straw

pix of a "hottest pick of the year"

stock symbol: phya
etc. etc. etc.
The boot camp in Bay County was closed in early May 2005 The sheriffs office said the closure had nothing to do with Andersons case but also said the eight people involved in the incident were not offered new jobs"


so my question is how do we avoid the spam problem in her outlook? i think this is related to the spam problem rim is getting recently.


btw...i have a blackberry, and i uses mycingular.blackberry.net address for my gmail. i received those spam email on my blackberry, but NOT in my outlook.

so what is going on here? for the love of GOD, can someone please answer my questions. thx.
