Agreed. After the initial novelty wore off, I also deleted it. Way to slow and 2.0 was actually better (IMHO). It does have potential, and it IS still a Beta so perhaps things will improve in subsequent builds.

With the new Widgets option, it has potential, but it still isn't quite there for me. I use my.yahoo as my home page, primarily because I can track several portfolios and weather in multiple locations. When Yahoo!Widgets got going well, I could also easily track airport delays, tv programs and radar for multiple locations (I travel alot for work). It was great... However, Yahoo has since blocked access for the airport widget and the TV widget. When mobile Yahoo 2.0 was out, I thought I might have access to my homepage info...nope... Now with 3.0 out, I thought "Maybe..."....nope... For some reason the mobile Yahoo developers want you to login, then only deliver access to part of the items you have set up on your homepage. For example, when I logged in it imported my weather locations, but not my financials. Due to my experience with the desktop widgets, I am skeptical about the mobile widgets. On top of that, it is still pretty slow and doesn't really come bundled with tools I'd use. So as I said, I think it has potential, but at this point it definetely an expendable app on my BB.

Default Got Yahoo! Go V3 working on T-Mobile BB curve 8320

However, regardless of whether I am using the EDGE connection or a WiFi connection, I still get the same error message.

I am wondering if anyone has experienced this problem and has a fix for it. Thanks.
I ran into the same problem and this is how I solved it on my BB Curve 8320 software version 4.2 from T-mobile.

- click on the Option icon (the adjustable wrench) from your BB Menu
- choose Advance Options
- choose TCP
- clear out the "APN:" field. Mine had wap.voicestream.com because I also have Opera Mini and was not working when I first installed it. I upgrade Opera Mini to version 4 and I believe it does not need the wap.voicestream.com there any longer, since it works now without that entry. (see BB support site for wap.voicestream.com for details)
- save, exit and shutdown the BB
- slide open the back of the BB and remove the battery for a few seconds then add the battery back and slide it close again. This will cold boot your BB and clear up any lingering setting problems.
- once the BB is up, give it a few minutes and try Yahoo! Go v3 again.

I was able to get this working on my end. I also have WiFi enabled and connecting to my wireless router at home so access is a bit faster than edge.

HTH...

This really pissing me off!! I went to download this software for my Pearl using Opera Mini and it tells me to use the built-in browser so it can detect my device. I brought up the browser and there is no way for me to enter a go to...link. Where the hell did that option go???? No matter where the cursor is on the screen, when I press the BB key to get the menu, there is no more GO TO... option. Also when I used to get links in my messages, the Pearl would automatically highlight entire links and give me the option to Get Link... that is not working either. What the hell??????

I went ahead and removed the battery and restarted the phone and now my messages are picking up links and giving me the option to "get link" thanks

Anyone know if the Yahoo GO 3.0 beta has been tweaked anymore to improve it?
My 2.0 has been working MUCH better and I really enjoy that.
Just wondering if there are any 3.0 improvements.
Thanks!

I'm still getting used to the App, but I like the new look.

Only downside is it moves really slow so far.

Is this still in beta?

I'm satisfied with 2.0 but would like to know if 3.0 offers more features that the 2.0 doesn't have without becoming a memory hog.

It's still in beta (3.0.13 last time I looked, unlucky number!) - I'm running the 2.0 version again, I like it much better and it works just fine more or less.

Default Yahoo Go 3.0 BES logging? Firewall? Security?

Does anybody know if BES admins are able read or log information received from emails read through Yahoo Go 3.0 on a blackberry? For example text of subjects, body, attached filenames or even actual images?

I spoke to Yahoo and they confirm they encrypt user and password over the BES line but would not confirm or deny they encrypt all traffic over the BES line. I have to believe all traffic is encrypted in some way.

Anybody know?? Thanks.

When I go to the yahoo mobile site, it doesn't give me an option to download Yahoo Go.

Hi All,

I installed Yahoo GO 3.0. It's taking a lot of space which is really bad. I did some browsing and used direction maps in Yahoo GO 3.0.
Now I want to clear the cache of Yahoo GO 3.0. How to do that ? I did't see any option to clear the cache like any other application.

Thanks
