I too am having battery problems. My battery is dead by 4 pm. I think i'm going back to the old OS.

How do you revert back?

what programs are you running I dont think the OS has anything to do with battery life. If I use my BB it will last from 620 when it turns on till 10 pm when it turns off.

On the weekends it last sat and sun with out a charge at all

Nothing special, the same programs I was running before the upgrade.

I'm 2 pumped my 7100i is a music box/pda I found a website that has great wav files Nextpimp.com I'm 2 hooked on it even though the speaker sounds like it's going to blow off lol because all the base in some of the wav files oh well who cares finally real music :0

I'm sad....

I had my GMAIL app working perfectly -- did the upgrade to get WAV format compatibilty, the upgrade went fine; however once I tried GMAIL it keeps timing out with need data access for gmail to work. I went in and checked all the permission for the application and they are all ALLOW except for keyboard injection and some other un-related setting ...

What happened?

anybody got GMAIL working after the upgrade?

No the exact same software that was running before the upgrade. The only 3rd party app is blackberry today but that was there before.

I seem to have lost my "reply to all" option on emails after the upgrade. And I had to reboot before it would play wav files.

loving this update...

i now get text messages within 10-30 seconds of people sending them.

it used to take anywhere from 10 seconds to a few hours to get them before.

got the zen theme installed..nice
got the bb today working..nice
got the bb light working...nice
downloaded a few wavs...nice

easiest way for me is to download them on my computer..then send it to my device via xxxxxxxx@... whatever nextels domain thingie is..some1 in this thread posted it earlier.

I don't know if I would recommend this upgrade or not , there are alot of horrible stories here. If the main thing is battery and wav files my business friends will have no reason to upgrade.

I need another 7100 anybody have one for sale in excellent condition with all orginal equipment less then a year old?

i am sellin mines but it doesnt come with the packaged headset but yet it comes with bluetooth headset willing to let go fo a mere 130 its in great condition just has minor scratches i ony had it for i say 5 months now

What I want to do:
I want to listen to wav files that are sent to me by me VoIP provider when i have a voice mail (for my home phone).

How it happens:
I get the message (on regular email not sms or mms) and can get the "open attachment" option but when I try to open it, I get a "More request cannot be completed. Service book information not found." error.

What I have done already:
I installed the update w/ no appearent issues and have installed the "Today" theme.
I have re-registered and I see i have lots of sevice books installed.

The help I need is:
Is there anything else i can try?

it wont do it different format than the bb allows I would love to do the same thing but I cant
