Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

Can someone please tell me how can I change my device language?

it's a 8320 I bought in Canada. It's branded T-mobile but unlocked and I can I use with my service provider in France Bouygues Telecom.

I can't find any solution to upgrade it.
I don't know if do it maybe my device will be blocked.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to your help.

Wish you all a merry christmas (with 2 day late ) and the very best for this end of year.

Cheers,

G

You will not block or lock your BlackBerry if you upgrade the OS.

Two questions:

- What version of the handheld OS are you running (check in Options / About for that information).

- Have you check in Options / Language to see if French is already installed?

Thanks.

Hi,

Yes I did, and there's only English (UK and US).
The OS version is 4.2.2.171

There are a few newer versions out there.
I can recommend downloading v4.2.2.180 (from T-Mobile). I am NOT 100% sure it contains French language inputs.

- Download the OS to your PC
- Install it to your PC
- Locate and Delete VENDOR.XML from the C: drive
- Restart Desktop Manager
