Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone. Maybe someone can help me. When I go to myspace from my 8700 and try to send messages when I click reply it loads like I'm going to be able to reply but the message reloads. Is this a java problem? Any tips would be great thanks.

What browser are you using? Try Opera Mini if you have not, to use on myspace.

I'm using the BB browser and it works just fine...the only things that I can't do are look at bulletins and do searches. But I use the myspace mail features all the time, and can view and add comments as well.

In the BB browser, go to Options, Browser Configuration, and set the emulation mode to IE or Netscape. That might help.

I tried Opera but found it was terribly slow, and froze all the time, so I got rid of it. The BB browser suits my needs just fine 95% of the time.

Oh and try enabling Javascript in there as well.

IMO, Blackberry and MySpace should never mix.
Actually, MySpace shouldn't mix with anything. Internet cancer, I say.

So, my tip would be to not use MySpace anymore.

Hahaha...well it's an extremely easy way to keep in touch with friends, and find old ones. I thought I'd be the last person to use it but after much pressure I signed up. Although there is a ton of trash on MySpace, I enjoy getting in touch with people I haven't talked to in a while, and that's exactly what I use it for. I don't know what's so bad about that, really...if you have no use for it, then don't use it. No one forces you to. So let's keep the thread on topic and if all you're going to do is whine, just stay out of it.

Well to each his own. I don't use my BB to check myspace.

My history with myspace is as follows:

1. Signed up for the first time, set up my profile, got addicted to creating my personal page.
2. Site shut down regularly, errors galor, spam started.
3. Spam continued after regularly updating my page. Set privacy settings which helped. Got tons of web cam girl notices -- wanting to be my friend....awwwww.....
4. Got tired of it, tired of new e-friends "Thanks for the add" gibberish. Closed account sickened but relieved.
5. At the urging of some clients and friends opened a new (private) account and invited only the people that I knew of that had accounts (friends/family). Set privacy settings again. No spam this time, site still has errors galor and shuts down regularly, Tom is no longer in my friends list.

If you want to go a step further check out Twitter: What are you doing?. There you can update your profile via your cell with what you are doing at that exact moment. Talk about bored people needing other bored people....

one thing when having browser problems: launch the browser, click the trackwheel and select options, browser configuration and ensure all the check boxes are checked off, can help you view a lot more web pages via the browser
