Default 8800 GPS - Took a phone call while navigating, how to get back turn by turn?

Please Login to Remove!

My turn by turn was working well and I took a phone call. This caused a message to appear "Phone in use. End call and try again." I hit cancel and noticed that while the turn by turn was switched off, the gps tracking still worked on my original route.

When I ended the call, it didnt automatically switch back to turn by turn and start downloading the new maps. Is there a way to make it do this? Or do we have to reroute every time we get off a call to get turn by turn? Thanks!

It would help us if you told us which application you were using.

Sorry about that Stinson, I'm using TeleNav.

The ideal situation would be that once I get off the call, the phone/app automatically goes back to downloading maps and turn by turn, but something tells me I'm asking too much.

Is there a way to do this with TeleNav or any other GPS solution?

If you didn't go off route when you end the call and go back to Telenav it should start up again and only reroute you if you went off.

It didnt do that for me. I ended the call and deliberately went off route (after ending call) but it didnt reroute me.
