As mentioned many, many times in all of the 4.2.1 threads, this will not work on an 8703e or an 8707

I just upgraded to the latest version tmobile had to offer. (v4.1.0.346) what is the advantage of upgrading to v4.2.1.141?

This are the things you get when you upgrade to 4.2:

*Picture caller ID
*Different look, bigger clock (zen theme), the media, calculator have newer cooler looks.
*new SMS Icon
*new Zen Theme look
*New Saved and compose icon
*Voice note
*Nice and new Balckberry Messenger interface

Those are some of the main things.. unfortunately the ringtone is a bit lower but other than that I recommend upgrading to 4.2.

I just downloaded Desktop 4.2.2.14, and 8700M_PBr4.2.1_rel141_PL2.3.0.76_A4.2.1.91_Bharti

Deleted vendor.xl, deleted blackberry.alx, replaced with Stinsondogg's blackberry.alx file.

Went through the entire install process, and completed with ZERO problems.

Spinning hour glass for 5 minutes, then I get a white screen with:

APP ERROR 205

Reset is the only option, when I reset, I get the same screen over and over. It wont even sync to Desktop Manager anymore. I think I screwed it up.

Any help? I'm on an 8700c
