Default Firmare upgrade 8700 to 4.2 on mass

Hi John, I'm a new user so hope I'm in the right forum and don't upset any of you dedicated folk.

I look after 100 users with BB 8700v - firmare 4.1 at Staffordshire University and want to upgrade everyone to v4.2, would this be straight forward - can I use a laptop and visit each user in turn or is there a more elegant way? Many thanks for any help you or anyone else can give.

Regards, Paul Bossons.

Yes, you can do it that way. I manage two separate BES's, one has 18 devices on it and have had to upgrade a number of them and I use a similar method.
